Personality
Friendly, upbeat, but very headstrong, Mikaeli has a knack for getting along with most folk he meets. While he's typically polite, he's also not afraid of speaking his mind when he deems it necessary. He has a very strong sense of justice and morals, which can often get him in trouble, especially when coupled with his somewhat hasty nature. Because of this, he takes his duties as a WoL very seriously, to the point that he can burn himself out from working too hard. If you earn his friendship, he'll be loyal for life. Unfortunately, this can also lead to him being a bit gullible to those he believe he's formed a bond with.
Backstory
Hailing from the Othard region, he and his twin sister lost their parents while they were still infants due to an unfortunate accident in the Ruby Sea, but were luckily saved by a Raen man of Sui no Sato who subsequently adopted and raised the pair. Given the nature of the settlement, Mikaeli grew up somewhat sheltered, not even realizing that he wasn't an Au'ra until he noticed he hadn't grown horns or a tail or gotten any taller for some time. Throughout his childhood, his natural curiosity lead him to explore outside the confines of the settlement, whether he was allowed to or not, to the slight dismay of his guardian.By the time he reached adulthood, he had developed a longing to see the outside world, and with the eventual, slightly reluctant approval of his father, he set out to do just that. First, he would learn the art of combat by training with a now ex monk outside Rhalgr's Reach. Once he felt himself ready, he continued on towards Eorzea. It wasn't long after crossing the boarder that he discovered himself to be a Warrior of Light, and he quickly settled into the expectations set upon him.While he was always on the front lines of the initial operations to push back the Garlemald empire, he was notably absent during a significant portion of the Scion's initial involvement of the Dragonsong War, but he's been closely involved in everything since then. When asked about this, he gets a bit flustered and avoids the subject.
Fun facts
• He has a smallshell crab named Tsukune who is, ironically, large enough for him to ride
• His close friends call him Mik, though some will call him Mika, which he accepts
• Due to growing up at the bottom of the ocean, fruits were always a special treat for him and he's excited at how readily available they are on the surface, his favorite being mangos
• As a small child he was actually rather timid around others, something his sister still teases him about
• After certain specific events in the First, his hair has gained a few white streaks
• He absolutely cannot hold his alcohol
• He has a thing for large and soft guys and likes to be held, even if it's a bit embarrassing for a lalafell and thus doesn't admit to it
Kirianu Goto
Personality
Loud, boisterous, hot headed and wild, what he lacks in common sense he more than makes up for it with overwhelming confidence in himself. Kirianu is one to act first and ask questions later, or not ask questions at all. While he often seems carefree and in high spirits, he's got a terrible temper matched with a fury rarely seen. Angering him is just asking for trouble. Avoiding that though, he's pretty fun to be around, and he's not afraid to show affection to those he feels deserve it.
Backstory
Born to pair of Raen naturalists, Kirianu lost both his parents at a very young age to wildlife of the Steppe. Forced to fend for himself at only 3 summers of age, Kirianu had enough drive and tenacity to thrive in the wilderness for a time, living as a feral child until he was found by the Dorthal tribe. His ferocity despite how young he was impressed those who found him, finding a certain kinship in his eyes, and thus he was adopted into the tribe, a rarity among them.The lifestyle of the Dorthal turned out to suit him very well, finding joy in their fierce style of combat and resonating with their ideas towards life, death, and reincarnation. Over time he became quite the accomplished warrior with the scars to prove it, and he likely would have been content to continue fighting for the good of the tribe had the Echo not ignited itself within him.Confused by this strange ability and a voice calling to him, he set out to find answers, though they were quite hard to come by. After a lot of traveling and even more getting lost, Kilian ended up in the Dravanian Forelands, and temporarily settled in Tailfeather, acting as a freelance adventurer and trapper. Though he had no plans on staying overlong, a strange Xaela who lived among an odd tribe of Vath caught his attention, and he ended up lingering in the area. Eventually he was found by the Scions, assisted them in defeating Ravana, and ultimately joined them along with the Au'ra who had intrigued him into staying in the first place.

• Even though he grew up in the wild his sense of direction is abysmal
• He'll eat just about anything and has no problems getting down even the grossest foods
• He is banned from most restaurants and taverns in Kugane due to a few... Violent outbursts

• He has a close bond with an albino Yol he's named Smasher, who's about as reckless and stupid as himself

Mhe'tan Knaidjn
Personality
Serious, calm, mysterious, and somewhat suave, Mhe'tan is a man who knows what he wants and will see anything he puts his mind to though to the end. His sense of justice is very strong and guides many of the things that he does, though his methods may seem unorthodox to an outside perspective. While he knows quite well how to speak with others and can be quite charming at that, he values time to himself and can be very introspective. No matter what, he'll find something to occupy either his hands or his mind, as he's not particularly fond of down time, even when he needs it. He's generally personable but if you get on his bad side he will remember it.
Backstory
As the tenth son of a large family, Mhe'tan spent much of his home life being somewhat sheltered by all of his older brothers. With so many siblings, he felt a need to stand out, and despite being the youngest, he was easily the most ambitious of the bunch. From a young age he dedicated himself to learning combat and making a name for himself, and once he was old enough, he set out on his own, setting his sights on the gladiatorial arena of Ul'dah.He had no problem rising through the ranks, becoming somewhat popular due to his skill at fighting mixed with a certain flair that he enjoyed showing off. Eventually though, he would come to want more than just fighting in an arena, and once again he started traveling, looking for more impressive battles and helping the less fortunate on the way.During his travels through Ishgard and the surrounding areas, he eventually found that he possessed the Echo, and quickly decided to use this ability to help the Scions work towards ending the Dragonsong War. Along the way he found himself at odds with a Sun Keeper man fighting alongside the heretics. Much to his surprise though, the two would end up working together, an arrangement that lasts even now.

• He likes sweets very much, with chocolate being one of his favorite flavors for desserts
• While he's always been good with swords and the like, learning to use more magical abilities took some getting used to
• Even if he seems almost narcissistic at times, he's actually a bit insecure
• He has a natural knack for working on machinery and finds the work relaxing, though he doesn't get a chance to do it much

• Is in a relationship with D'ameta Nunh, the same man he originally butted heads with during the Dragonsong War

Copperbell Mines
Personality
Bold, spunky, playful but also down to earth, this gal ain't afraid to speak her mind, for better or worse. Copperbell has a cowgirl 'tude through and through, her head's about as hard as the ores that she mines. There isn't much that can fluster her besides the occasional pretty lady and she's the last person who's afraid of getting dirty, which suits her well as a miner. She puts a lot of importance in her family, by blood or by bonds, and if you try to mess with them, get ready to pay with a black eye or a couple missing teeth, because that pickaxe of hers packs a punch.
Backstory
Found as a toddler by a Xaela man along with her baby brother, Copperbell was an orphan at a young age due to losing her parents to a cave in. While it's not uncommon for little urchins to go unnoticed in Ul'dah, she was lucky enough to have a foreigner show concern for her and adopt her, despite the language barrier the man had with any of the natives. Too young to even know her name and due to a misunderstanding by her new guardian, she ended up being called after the mines she was found near, and the name simply stuck.Naturally curious, Copperbell spent a lot of time watching artisans and workers around the city of Ul'dah, taking a shine to the very thing that took her biological parents' lives, as well as a few other crafts. A lack of formal training never stopped her, and gradually, she taught herself how to mine and how to use her finds in goldsmithing and blacksmithing. Of course, she ended up using her talents to help provide for her little family.Things wouldn't always be so peaceful though; in a post calamity world that's always changing faster than you can blink, Copperbell soon found that her talents made her useful for the various war efforts against the Garlemald Empire, and she was more than happy to provide her services for the cause, something she continues working for to this day.

• While she doesn't have problems speaking her mind, she tends to clam up when she's around cute women
• Her little brother is named Cherry Bomb, and unsurprisingly, he has a Bomb as a pet too
• Her pigtails stand up when she's surprised, which gives her the appearance of a spriggan
• She also has a spriggan as a pet named Lapis, who carries around a blue stone
• She has a slight southern accent
• Typically she's not a fan of dressing up, preferring to wear comfortable clothes. If she does dress nicely, it isn't long before her clothes gets dirty anyway
Lumika Chuka
Personality
Sweet, kind, caring and just a touch cheeky, Lumika is a soft soul who wants nothing more than to take care of those around him. His main concern is the wellbeing of everyone else, especially that of friends and family. Despite him wanting to be the one to look after others, it's quite often that he ends up on the receiving end of it instead, given how likely he is to tire himself out with his efforts. While he's pretty soft spoken, he's not afraid to tell it like it is either, when necessary. His boundless care of others also makes him somewhat easy to manipulate.
Backstory
Born of a Lalafell mother and a Viera mother, Lumika unfortunately lost both his parents at a young age due to their involvement with the Doman rebellion against the Garlemald occupation. Luckily for him, he was adopted fairly quickly by Hyur merchant and his two Miqo'te husbands, who raised him as their own.His family was very successful in business, affording him a rather cushy life. Though he never wanted for anything material, he often found himself wanting to see more of the world beyond Kugane, but his fathers never wanted to let him stray too far from their sight, aware that his rather soft nature would make it easy for others to take advantage of him, and none of them had the time to take him traveling either. Eventually though, an opportunity would arise for him to accompany a close business partner of the family to Eorzea, a chance that Lumika jumped on right away.Upon reaching the new land, he discovered both a talent for white magics and his possession of the Echo, which spurred him to start working on behalf of Hydaelyn and the Scions. Knowledge of his parents' untimely demise due to working for the freedom and safety of others only encouraged him further to use his abilities to help anyone in need.

• He has a certain... partnership with a roe man named Office Building, the same man who took him to Eorzea
• Has a very protective older sister, a roe who was also adopted along with him
